The automotive industry is in the midst of dramatic technological change as companies seek out new ways to make money beyond building and selling gas-powered cars. And GM CEO and chair Mary Barra, who has held the top spot for a decade, is at the center of that change.

Barra is pushing to double the automaker’s revenues by the end of the decade, lead the market in EV sales, offer software-based services and commercialize autonomous vehicle technology through its subsidiary Cruise. The road to reach those goals has been bumpy, but Barra continues to press forward.

Barra will join us onstage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 to discuss the highs and lows of transforming the legacy automaker, where GM is headed and how it plans to lead in autonomous vehicles, software and EVs.

TechCrunch Disrupt, which will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from October 28 to October 30, is the center of the startup universe. Investors, founders, engineers and designers converge to Disrupt to learn, network, share ideas and maybe even launch the next big product. What better place to talk to Barra about how GM seeks out talent and the company’s approach to investing and even acquiring startups like Cruise.

Grab your tickets now and save up to $800 during TechCrunch’s Disrupt Deal Days event.
